None of us are immune from our own wrong perspective when we allow the flesh to take over, which might happen often when we're tired or spiritually starving (maybe both).
I have to say, I believe I have dealt with these thoughts better than I would have before I was a believer or even just a few months ago! Things WILL often go wrong. We learn, we improve, and we grow from it. Things gone wrong are an opportunity to make improvements and test our character.
So I totally forgot about the time change and the tea party agenda changed
dramatically (last minute)- oh, well! The girls still had a good time.
So I broke three things yesterday- oh, well!
So I forgot to wash my husband's chef uniforms- oh, well! Worked out fine since he actually unexpectedly took the morning off anyway.
So I left my flat iron at my mom's yesterday and I had to face the world with nappy, half straight, half curly hair- oh, well! Didn't go out much anyway.
So I woke up SUUUUUUPER late this morning for school- oh, well! My son made it in the gate with one minute to spare.
So I was supposed to start watching what I ate again today and ended up having coffee and bread with my sister this morning- oh, well!
The list goes on and that's just in the last few days. Oh, well! LOL
I'll take my own advice and remember the TRUTH that I told the girls in the tea party this past weekend; no matter how you feel, the TRUTH never changes and God is still in control!! Praise Him, from Whom all blessings flow! Praise Him!
Off I go to spend some time in His Word. Much needed...much longed for: His Truth.
Enjoy this beautiful day!
